Barbecue fans, this one’s for you! Join us in Osage City for Smoke In The Spring—a mouthwatering evening you won’t want to miss! Watch 100+ top BBQ competitors fire up their smokers and battle it out for Kansas BBQ glory and the win.

Friday: Taste of Osage City

Explore 12+ vendors serving up delicious BBQ and other local treats, bounce around in the inflatables, get ready to rock out with LIVE MUSIC starting at 7 pm, and end the night with a fireworks show! See you there—it’s going to be SMOKIN'!

Saturday: Smoke in the Spring

Turn-in day for the teams, plus awards. You're welcome to observe, but there is no food/events.

BBQ Bucks

You'll need BBQ Bucks to purchase food at the event. $1=1 BBQ Buck. Purchase ahead of time at Osage City Hall (201 South 5th, April 7-10 8am-5pm and April 11 8am-12pm) or at the event (517 S. 1st, south side of the Community Building, 1-7pm). Bucks from past years are still good!

Vendors & Teams

They'll have over 20 vendors available to purchase BBQ (and other eats) from this year!

The team list is currently full, but check the Facebook page for a wait list–there are always dropouts!

Concert & Fireworks

Get ready to rock the evening away with live music with "The Bash Band," that will have everyone tapping their feet! As the sun sets, stick around for a spectacular fireworks show that lights up the sky and caps off a day of food, fun, and family memories.

Kids-Fun-Zone

They didn’t forget the kids! They'll have three inflatables to burn off energy, classic ice cream floats to cool down, and plenty of space to play while you enjoy the BBQ and festivities.
